In the third quarter of 2024, the sandbox gaming genre in Cyprus saw intriguing trends across top applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Roblox from Roblox Corporation showed a dynamic revenue pattern, starting the quarter with approximately $9.9K and peaking at $13.3K in late August. Downloads varied, with a noticeable peak in late July at around 2.8K, followed by a gradual decline to about 1.7K by the end of September.

Minecraft: Play with Friends, developed by Mojang, maintained a relatively stable revenue, fluctuating between $381 and $570 throughout the quarter. Downloads were modest, starting at 89 in early July and experiencing a dip to 26 in late September.

Blockman Go by Blockman GO Studio experienced a significant revenue increase towards the end of the quarter, rising from $56 to $129. Downloads, however, showed a downward trend, starting at 69 in early July and declining to 43 by the end of the quarter.

Growtopia from Ubisoft Entertainment saw a sharp increase in downloads mid-quarter, peaking at 200 in late August. Revenue fluctuated modestly, ending the quarter with a rise to $92 after a low of $27 in early August.
